What Is Auto-Loop Recording?

Basically, continuous loop recording overwrites old footage as you go unless you've noted it as something you want to save. The dash cam will start at the top of the included 8GB MicroSD card and record all the way through until it gets to the end, then it'll start back at the top and start recording over the oldest video first. You'll have to make sure you designate the important video you want to keep before it's overwritten. Footage associated with a sudden acceleration or deceleration will be automatically protected from overwrite.

Please Note: Make sure to obey all applicable laws, regulations, rules and ordinances when mounting your device to your vehicle. Be careful when inserting the microSD card. Do not insert the card incorrectly as this may damage the card slot or the card. The Lane Departure feature may be used as an additional precaution, but do not solely rely on its alerts. Variations in road conditions, weather, markings and other factors can prevent it from working correctly.
