Designed more to extend your smartphone's usage rather than recharge it completely, the MixBin's internal battery easily recharges through a powered USB port in about 2-1/2 hours.

All that's cool, but what makes the MixBin different is the small solar panel built in to the front of the unit. Simply allow it to get direct sunlight and the internal battery will start charging. To be fair, it'll take about 50 hours to fully charge the MixBin via the sun but it still offers another option for power while you're on the go.
